Our Print Embroidery Services
Why Choose Custom Print Embroidery Services
Both Methods In House
Print embroidery services under one roof, so one order can carry both without a second supplier.
Consistent Every Reorder
Artwork and stitch files are kept on file, so the tenth order matches the first exactly.
Flexible Order Sizes
Single garments through to full staff rollouts, with mixed sizes handled in one order.
Screen Printing VS Embroidery
Look & Finish
- Screen Printing: Sits flat in the fabric with a smooth finish, and the design becomes part of the garment.
- Embroidery: Raised stitched thread with visible texture, which reads as more premium on collared garments.
Colour & Detail
- Screen Printing: Handles photographic images, gradients, and unlimited colour across large designs.
- Embroidery: Limited thread colours with no true gradients, and best suited to logos, text, and crests.
Garment Suitability
- Screen Printing: Best on flat cotton surfaces such as t-shirts, hoodies, and tote bags.
- Embroidery: Best on polos, caps, fleece, jackets, and heavier fabrics that support the stitching.
Cost & Quantity
- Screen Printing: Setup is charged per colour, so unit cost drops sharply across larger runs.
- Embroidery: One digitising charge, then cost follows stitch count, which suits small quantities better.
Why Choose Print Embroidery Services
Screen Printing
Ink pushed through a mesh screen onto the garment, one screen per colour. The most economical method at volume and the standard for T-shirts, hoodies, and event merchandise.
Embroidery
Your logo stitched directly into the garment in thread. Hard wearing, professional, and the expected finish on polos, caps, and workwear where the branding needs to look considered.
DTF Transfer Printing
Full-colour designs printed to film and heat-pressed onto the garment. No screen setup, which makes it the practical choice for small runs and photographic artwork with many colours.
Vinyl Names & Numbers
Cut vinyl is heat-applied for individual names, squad numbers, and role titles. The efficient route when every garment in an order needs different text on it.
Workwear & Uniforms
Embroidered polos, jackets, and hi-vis for staff teams, with placement and thread colours matched to brand guidelines and repeatable on every future order.
Team & Club Kit
Training tops, hoodies, and match kit with club crests, sponsor logos, and individual names and numbers applied across a full squad in one order.
Promotional & Event Merchandise
Printed t-shirts, tote bags, and caps for launches, conferences, and campaigns, produced to a deadline and delivered ready to hand out.
Why Choose The Custom Patches For Print Embroidery Services
The Custom Patches digitises every embroidery design and separates every print file before production, then checks it on the actual garment colour. Most decoration problems trace back to artwork setup rather than machinery.
We work with established garment brands and use quality inks and threads, so colour holds and stitching stays intact through industrial washing. We can also decorate garments you supply yourself.
Our team advises on method, garment choice, and placement before you commit, handles mixed size and colour orders, and keeps your files ready so reorders need no repeat setup work.
Custom Print Embroidery For Apparel
Refine your order with a range of options so the result matches your brand exactly. Choose your garments, decoration method, placement, colours, and quantities.
Garment Selection
Choose from established blank brands across t-shirts, polos, hoodies, jackets, caps, and hi-vis, or send us garments you have already bought. Both routes are handled the same way in production.
Placement Options
Left chest, full front, back, sleeve, nape, and cap front are all available, and a single garment can carry more than one. Placement affects the maximum size a design can run at.
Colours & Artwork Setup
Print colours are matched to Pantone references and thread colours to the closest available match. We provide a proof before production so nothing is guessed at your expense.
Quantities & Size Splits
Order mixed sizes and colours within one job, and split quantities across garment types where the design allows. Files are stored afterwards so reorders skip setup entirely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We decorate garments you supply as readily as garments we source, which suits customers with existing stock or a specific brand requirement. We do ask that you send one spare item per design, since decorating your own garments carries a small risk we cannot absorb on your only piece.
Embroidery can be run on a single garment because the digitising is a one-time cost and there is no per-item setup after that. Screen printing carries a setup charge per colour, which makes it uneconomical below a certain quantity, so small colourful runs are usually better produced as DTF transfers.
Turnaround depends on the method, the quantity, and whether garments need to be ordered in. We confirm a firm date at the point of quoting rather than after you have committed, and we will tell you honestly if a deadline is not achievable.
Embroidery carries a one-time digitising charge to convert your logo into a stitch file, and screen printing carries a setup charge per colour. Both are one-time costs. We keep the files, so reorders of the same design carry no setup at all.
